This section reviews the law and regulations of Iceland, EU and other countries, as well as international law and conventions on genetically modified organisms and genetically modified products. It will, as far as possible, analyse the status and development of legislation and review current developments. Links will be provided to the legal texts of regulation and contracts and the readers will also be referred to homepages of the respective public bodies involved in the execution of those regulation.
